MEAT AND POULTRY |

are also an extremely experienced supplier of staff
to the meat and poultry industry. Working in partnership with your organisation,
we can supply the entire range of meat factory
workers, from highly skilled boners and butchers through to packers and
general operatives. Our registration process includes relevant
questions and assessments to cut down risks such as contagious disease,
bad work practices and general Health & Safety.

In
addition to the supply of Contract and Temporary Workers, Premier can
also find you Permanent staff and are currently supplying a number of
companies very successfully with permanent staff from the UK and Europe who work
directly with their company from day one, or after a short probationary
period; without an up front introduction fee.
Our
charge for providing these staff is made per person, as a percentage of their
annual salary and if cash flow is an issue, can be invoiced per week,
for an agreed number of weeks.

SELECTION |

Our recruitment and selection procedure
(including the registration form) are specifically targeted for business
needs and the food
& manufacturing industries. Skills and experience are
identified and recorded.
Hygiene knowledge and
general H&S testing is an
essential requirement.
Our Medical questionnaire is targeted to
highlight problem areas and has been approved by clients’ professional
Medical/Health & Safety staff.

All applicants complete the form as an
integral part of the registration process that also includes Manual
Handling. As a client you too can incorporate your testing / induction procedures
into our own screening and assessment processes.
Our registration procedures follow strict security guidelines for both
national and international applicants. We provide our temporary staff
with a Premier ID card which they carry with them at all times and
which also serves as a record for completing the mandatory food
hygiene and manual handling assessments upon registration.

TRANSPORT TO WORK
We provide transport, for most of our Temporary
and Contract staff, indeed we have a full Public Service Vehicle Operator's
Licence ('O' License) and our own bus
fleet, with which to provide travel to and from work; thereby
ensuring punctuality and reliability. An added bonus is that they all
arrive together!

When
we supply temporary staff we act as an 'Employment Business'. This
means that our workers are engaged under a contract for services which
does not give rise to a contract of employment. We also pay all
National Insurance, PAYE and any other deductions which we are
instructed to make by official bodies, e.g. the courts, SSP, SMP, tax
credits, CSA, etc. All our temporary staff have been through a process
which makes them eligible for work in the UK as well as an identity
check. These documents can be examined, if workers are engaged by
you, at our Taunton office, by appointment during normal office hours.
