Premier Employment's online service is committed to protecting the privacy of our users.  We want to provide a safe and secure user experience.  We will use our best efforts to ensure that the information you submit to us remains private, and is only used for the purposes set out in this policy.

We do not gather information and statistics on visitors to this website.

Curriculum vitae / Register Online

We give you the option of submitting your CV or basic details via this website.  You can do this either to apply for a specific advertised job or for consideration by our recruitment consultants for positions as they come up.  Your CV will not be stored online, it will only be accessible by recruitment consultants from Premier Employment Limited.

Your CV is e-mailed directly to one of our recruitment consultants who review your details and may enter them onto our central in-house database.  This database, including the information relating to you, can be accessed by any of our recruitment consultants working in the offices of Premier Employment.

You can update your CV at any time, simply by following the same procedure to submit a new CV.   You have the right at any time to ask us for a copy of the information supplied by you that we hold.  We have the right to charge a small fee for this service.  If you would like to make a request for information, please contact info@premier-employment.co.uk  

By sending us your CV you do so on the understanding that we will send it (minus your name and contact details) to prospective employers. 

You have the right to ask Premier Employment to stop using your information.

Your CV will not be sent to prospective employers if you withdraw your consent; please do this in writing by post or Email to info@premier-employment.co.uk  your CV will be confidentially destroyed by shredding.

The Information We Collect and How We Use It

Your personal details, including your name, e-mail address and CV, are held and used by us for the following purposes:

1. For matching your details with job vacancies, permanent and temporary, to assist us in finding you a suitable position.

2. We may also release information relating to you to regulatory or law enforcement authorities, if required to do so.

3. To provide to prospective employers (or other agencies you may undertake assignments for) a confirmation of engagement/employment. This will give start and end dates and details of any statutory parental leave you may have taken. We do not, by company policy, give references as to standards of performance or suitability.

4. We do not release your information to any other third parties acting on our behalf e.g. payroll services.

The Data Protection Act 1998

The information that you give us, including your CV and e-mail address, is termed "personal data" under the Data Protection Act 1998. We must therefore follow the principles set out in that Act when we process your personal data. All the personal data that we obtain from you is held on our central in-house database.

Premier Employment Ltd is the "data controller" for the purposes of the Data Protection Act.
